Zachary Charles Raderstorf

is a proven filmmaker with a track record of taking projects from concept to distribution. As the founder of The Octopi Group and Octopi Creative Studios, he has built a fully operational creative studio that collaborates with award-winning producers, crew members, sales agents, and distributors—delivering high-quality, efficient, and innovative productions.

Since launching Octopi Creative Studios in 2019, Zachary has produced and directed multiple film projects and advertising campaigns, demonstrating his ability to lead projects across both creative and corporate production landscapes. His strategic vision and commitment to excellence have transformed Octopi Creative Studios from a startup into a fully functional, in-house content powerhouse, making it an affordable and professional partner for productions worldwide.

Zachary’s career in the entertainment industry began when he moved to Los Angeles at nineteen, immersing himself in acting, writing, and production. While his early career was rooted in performance, he ultimately discovered his true passion lay in producing and directing—leveraging his acting background to bring a performance-driven approach to filmmaking.

Following a decade-long hiatus to gain critical business and production insights, he returned to the industry with a clear vision for creating premier-quality content. His hands-on approach ensures that every project under The Octopi Group is executed with efficiency, creativity, and strategic distribution in mind.

Now, Zachary is making his first bold charge into the thriller genre, bringing his expertise, industry relationships, and passion for intelligent storytelling to this latest project.a

Ana M. Amortegui

is a Colombian-born director of photography whose work demonstrates her eye for beautiful and meaningful images that understand camera and lighting.  Most recently, Amortegui, shot the feature UNDERCARD directed by Tamika Miller and wrapped shooting the second season of NBC hit QUANTUM LEAP.

Amortegui’s photography appears across television series including: Syfy’s RESIDENT ALIEN; Netflix’s WORN STORIES; Warner Bros. TV/The CW’s BLACK LIGHTNING; BET’s Twenties; feature documentaries HEAL;  IMAGINING ZOOTOPIA for the Fusion Network; plus commercials for Disney and the United Nations. Amortegui obtained a degree in electrical engineering while working as a professional dancer. With a passion spanning diverse disciplines, she found herself in demand as a choreographer on a variety of Colombian television series, where she became fascinated with the talent and skill of those behind the camera. She graduated from The Art Institute of California in 2010 and entered Film Independent’s prestigious Project: Involve in 2009. 

Additionally, Amortegui earned scholarships from Panavision and Arri to study Cinematography at the Maine Media workshops, and appeared on ICG Magazine’s  Generation Next list in 2020. Marvin Lemus’s GENTE-FIED, a web series lensed by Amortegui, premiered at Sundance in 2017. 

With a strong visual storytelling approach, Amortegui prioritizes shots that affect emotions. She pays careful attention to the emotions she feels from each script. She lets her imagination run wild and translate her feelings into images, playing movies in her head as she reads.  Additionally, Amortegui utilizes research on themes, inspiration in music, still photography, art pieces and history to piece together superb images, colors, tone and other elements to help create a unique visual language she can share with her collaborators.   Amortegui is represented by World Production Agency (WPA) and is an IATSE Local 600 director of photography.

Janell Barrett-Jones

is a seasoned producer with expertise in both talent and segment producing. Recognized for her ability to manage high-profile talent and her swift problem-solving capabilities, making her an invaluable asset to production teams. Her career highlights include Carpool Karaoke, (CBS / Apple) where she was part of the talent team for the groundbreaking series that won five Emmy Awards and received a total of eight nominations.

Prior to that, Janell worked on Bill Nye Saves the World (Netflix) as a segment producer, playing a key role in the success of the innovative series, which earned multiple Emmy nominations, including Outstanding Writing for Nonfiction Programming, and won an Emmy for its creative approach to science education. Additionally, Janell worked on Food Paradise for the Travel Channel, where her talents as a producer helped shape over one hundred episodes of the series.

Beyond these marquee projects, her diverse experience spans syndicated talk shows, live red carpet broadcasts, digital series, documentaries, and courtroom programming. Known for her calm demeanor, ability to foster strong relationships with talent, and unmatched problem-solving skills, Janell is a trusted and sought-after professional who consistently ensures smooth and successful productions.

Patrick and Dan McClain

grew up in small town Illinois before branching off on different paths through an assorted array of jobs and towns with their own successes and failures. Having lived separately in Alaska, Seattle, Chicago, and Denver, they ultimately decided to live in Colorado with their families and pursue their shared passion in writing. After years of scribbling individual poems, stories, scripts, and idiosyncratic observations, they decided to give their dreams direction and to work together as The Brothers McClain. This joint enterprise has not only led to many feature scripts in several different stages of development but also has renewed their belief that it’s never too late to chase a dream.
